This is Deal Tri member Tina Barton.
Last week, Tina ran the Big Half marathon in London and finished 1st woman in her age group, an incredible result and so richly deserved.
She took part in the Worcester half marathon yesterday, which is a qualifying race for the British Masters team.
To achieve selection, she needed to finish top 3 – and she finished 2nd on a soggy and undulating course 🎊👏
Tina is a very modest person, and will probably hate this attention (sorry not sorry!) but we are so proud of her and the example that she sets to other runners with her self discipline and generous thoughtful advice.
