It’s Saturday so its parkrunday! Let’s have a quick look round.
Biggest kudos of the day to our Couch to 5k group, their 1st week, 3rd walk/run, and they all opted to complete thecwhole parkrun course. That’s fantastic progress, keep building on that 👏
Sixty four Dealies, including 4 Juniors, took part at our home run at Walmer and Deal Seafront. Sultan Harris celebrated her 100th parkrun today, and Beth Wild her 50th.
Barry Bolton and Karl Prior rang the bell for a new personal best time, along with Juniors Oliver and Jasmine. Oscar Trunley-Smith got his 3rd consecutive PB time today, possibly because he was being chased down!
Kieran Hubbard ran his first buggy parkrun today, a totally different experience to normal, but his daughter enjoyed it!
Further afield, Rebecca Simcox enjoyed Highcliffe Beach, which is a combination of gravel paths, tarmac paths and sand – challenging!

Remember our Couch to 5k starts week 2 on Monday, 6.50pm meet at Hut 55, Marine Rd. It’s not too late to start! Go to our Facebook posts for the registration form. In less than 9 weeks, you too could be running the parkrun course 🧡
