5 mile handicap 2026

Registration – hall opens 0840, for registration at 0900h. First runner goes off at 0930h sharp.

Deal Tri 5 mile handicap race

Organiser – Sue Bolton – Handicap times will be calculated by Margaret Reidy, according to your times recorded in the Run League.

The run will happen first, then the draw for the Club’s London Marathon ballot place will take place during the post-run gathering. Click here for details and eligibility.

We will be collecting goods for Deal Area Foodbank – items don’t have to be expensive – the list of desired stuff will be on a separate post – thank you for your generosity.

This event is for members plus invited guests.
It is run on open roads, on an undulating 2 lap, 5 mile route.

This is a handicapped race so the start is staggered according to a runners submitted time.  Faster runners will set off last.  The winner is the first runner back.

Cost – FREE – but contributions of cake and savouries are welcome for the post-run gathering
Running friendly Christmas themed kit is encouraged!
