The second round of the club 10 mile TT took place last night at Betteshanger. For once it was fairly calm, but very warm and the summer evening saw 18 riders complete the 10 mile course. It was great to see some new faces as well as our regulars. Congratulations to our fastest male, Ian Humphreys with a time of 00:24:47 and fastest female, Jill Cliff who completed the 10 miles in 00:26:12 full results and points scored can be found below. The championship is still open so round 3 on the 13th of August will decide the male and female winners.
If you haven’t entered a TT yet Betteshanger is a great place to start, it’s local and you can’t get lost on the track, so August’s event could be the time to take the plunge. If you are looking for something slightly longer to give yourself more of a challenge there is a 25 mile TT in September.
Many thanks to all the marshals who came out to support the event, without them the TT just couldn’t go ahead. To Kev and Gloria dong the time keeping, and Marge for undertaking all the administration, collating the results and most importantly bringing ice lollies.
