Well, lets see how everything is progressing with the run league, now that we have reached the half way point of the year…
- At this point last year we had 166 members but we now have an amazing 209 of you now on the table
- We had 68 of you who had run 1 race but now there are currently 99 of you. Our 2 races ran so far is still very much the same with 42 members.
- Guess what! There has been a flurry of you who are now earning points, we have gone from 56 (which was the same as 2025) to 68 of you. I am so pleased to see Luke McNicholas, Aaron Hill, Jenny Rayment, Bronwen Lafferty, Martin Roby, Anita Pollard and Nicola Carter have joined Lisa Buckler who have all run 6 distances and only needs to do a 5-mile race to complete all 7 distances…
- Finally, congratulations to both Karl Prior and Bea Phillips who throughout July beat their 5k times every Saturday.
How does the run league work?
- The league consists of 7 race distances: 5k, 5-mile, 10k, 10-mile, half marathon, 20-mile and Marathon
- All times submitted must be official race recorded times only and not virtual races
- To start earning points you must have covered 3 out of the 7 race distances. Points will be based on your best 3 run league table positions
- Just to confirm I will only check results for: local park runs, Sporting Events and Nice Works races. Any other races you do which you wish to add to the league please email Margaret Reidy @ secretary@dealtri.co.uk
- Please can you change your Park Run Profile to show Deal Tri as your club, this will help me to avoid missing you…
- Please note, once the league table is published, that any amendments or additions will be done on the following months table.
