Social ‘Spoons run – Sunday 6 July

Below is plan for runners, cyclists more than welcome to join too (Simon Best has let cycling what’s app groups know – aim to arrive at Ramsgate Wetherspoons about 10:40)

Swimmers – if you fancy a Ramsgate swim you’re more than welcome too!

Three options:

13.2 miles – meet at Hut 55, next to Walmer Paddling Pool, at 0750am for 0800am away.

7 miles – meet at Sandwich Quay 0850am for 0900ish away (will wait for the first group to arrive before leaving). If you’re driving there, please car share and/or get a lift and be dropped off by 4 milers.

4 miles – meet at Thanet Parkway train station at 0920am for 0925/0930ish away. If you’re driving there, please car share. This group will run for about half a mile to join the other 2 groups, then everyone will go to the seafront together.

Breakfast will be on the lovely Wetherspoons outside terrace before getting train back to respective start points.

Train is approx £5-7. It’s better if we buy tickets together on the day as the group save discount is generous.

There is about a 15 minute walk from spoons to Ramsgate station.

Normally I don’t ask for people to confirm if they are coming, but for those in the 4 mile group, please let me know so we can ensure we all meet up.
