DESCRIPTION:Location: Victoria Park\, Ashford \nOrganiser – Sue Bolton \n16th June 2026 \nTime – 7pm gun time – arrive by 6.30pm please. \nFor general information about the relays\, click here \nStart point \nMiddle of Victoria Park\, Ashford\, Kent TN234RL \nParking: \nAshford Victoria Park Car park – limited spaces (free) \nJemmett Road – limited spaces – on road parking \nVictoria Road Car Park (Free after 6pm) \nElwick Road Car Park (free after 3pm) \nToilets: \nVictoria Park Coffee Shop – 8 toilets – they have kindly agreed to stay open.  Please leave them as you would wish to find them. \nRoute \nhttps://www.plotaroute.com/route/2533370 – (updated 1330h 05/06/2025) KEEP LEFT at all times. \nFirst Aid and water station \nAt the start/finish. \nPre-Race Brief\n\nPaths are shared the public. Give plenty of room and do not force others off the path.\nRun on the left where possible to avoid getting in each other’s way.\nFollow any instructions given by the marshals.\nRunners coming in to hand over the baton\, slow down before the handover point to avoid running into other runners on the hand over line.\nKeep the hand over area clear\, only stand in the area if you are ready to receive the baton. Runners shall be coming in at pace and need room to slow down.\nOnce a runner has handed over the baton\, please move out of the area swiftly.\nIf you feel unwell or see someone in distress\, report to a marshal.\nNo earphones so you can hear what is around you. Also\, there may be crowded parts on the course\, and earphones may be a distraction.\nBe aware of vehicles at point … (specify area). Marshals shall be present to call out vehicles. Run on the right hand side to keep clear of cars and other people. Make sure you do not put yourself or others at risk by running out or jostling for position in front of traffic
