Give plenty of room and do not force others off the path.\nRun on the left where possible to avoid getting in each other’s way.\nFollow any instructions given by the marshals.\nRunners coming in to hand over the baton\, slow down before the handover point to avoid running into other runners on the hand over line.\nKeep the hand over area clear\, only stand in the area if you are ready to receive the baton. Runners shall be coming in at pace and need room to slow down.\nOnce a runner has handed over the baton\, please move out of the area swiftly.\nIf you feel unwell or see someone in distress\, report to a marshal.\nNo earphones so you can hear what is around you. Also\, there may be crowded parts on the course\, and earphones may be a distraction.\nBe aware of vehicles at some points. Marshals shall be present to call out vehicles. DESCRIPTION:Roger’s Coastal Relay: \n\nA social romp across the cliffs\, starting at the Valiant Sailor in Capel\, finishing at Lilyroos\, Sandwich Rd\, for food\, drink and prizes.\nMay 17th 2026 approx 0730 start (tbc)\nThis is a handicapped event – team Captains will complete a Form with team members names\, emergency details etc and a 5k time which we will use to sort out the running order – we will be checking the submitted times!\nTeams of 4 – 1 person in each team must be a Club member (you will need a car – if multiple drivers\, remember to sort out insurance\, or have 1 car + a driver)\nOR\nIt can be done solo with prior notice to me or Simon Read.\n£10 for members\, £15 non-members.\nThe route is set but there may be small elements of self navigation!
