Brighton Marathon

Husband and wife team Chris and Chantal Wayman ran the inaugural Brighton Marathon today.  Chris ran the 26.2 miles in 3:40:57 and Chantal 4:31:42. Chantal reports it was a terrific race, splendid weather, huge crowds and tiptop organisation. Well done.

THE OPTION FOR  THE REFUND OF ENTRY FEE FROM 14th FEBRUARY DATE FOR RUNNERS UNABLE TO MAKE THE NEW RACE WILL END ON SUNDAY 18th APRIL.  AFTER THAT DATE NO REFUNDS CAN BE OFFERED.

Krystyna’s Half Marathon First

Congratulations to Krystyna Lowicz who completed her first ever half marathon yesterday at the O2 Run to the Beat event.  Krystyna completed the course in 2:20:50 whilst accompanied by numerous live music bands.  Well done.

Reading Half Results

Father & son Simon & Jason Read flew the Deal Tri flag at the Reading Half Marathon today. With a massive 17’000 entries but only 12’000 finishers Jason finished 791 in 1.31.32 & Simon in 1.41.42 in 1877 position. Weather & atmoshere was fantastic with a great finish into the Madjeski football ground.

Hastings Half Marathon

There were 3 Deal Tri finishers in the Hastings Half on 15th March.
Pat sent this report “Weather conditions were perfect. The local support outstanding. The organisation exemplary. The climbs steeper than ever before! The race painful!”
