East Grinstead Sprint Tri
Not as many as in previous years but two managed the trip to mid-Sussex for this popular event.
Jez Dack was 22nd, 5th in age group in 1:18.11
Sally Scoggins was 149th, 5th in age group in 1:32.55.

Sophie Budgen was also there taking part in her first triathlon. She raced the try-a-tri and completed in 55 minutes, battling through with a persistent knee injury which she said slowed her down on the run. Think she is now firmly addicted! Welcome to the family Soph :)

Well done Sally & Jez, EG Tri is a favourite 1st Tri of the season for many, and is usually populated with several Deal Tri. I myself haven't missed the race for years, but in my current predicament I guess it's best not to race!!

Thanks for trawling Tim....missed others not being there...very quiet for Deal tri with only 1 spectator...my hubby! Good race as ever with conditions good in friendly surroundings. A good start to the triathlon race season.
