Cross Country Weekend Round Up
A misty, chilly Minnis Bay witnessed a strong Deal Tri (23 + 2 juniors) battle along the beach, up the shingle and then back through a number of "damp" dykes.
Great to see 55 junior runners with our boys doing the club proud; Sam Nutley (14th) & Joseph Lyons.
Deal's men were led in by newbie Lloyd Nutley, Dave Fowler & Andy Girling. With the ladies it was Jill Cliff, Yvonne Elliot & Jo Malpass. Full results below

There were a number of great runs with everybody improving as the season goes on but special mention to Dave Martin (163rd) , Yvonne Elliot (58th), Clare Wiseman (70th) & Lorraine Lyons (89th) who raced at Detling in the County Championships the day before, well done.
The cakes were the best as ever & i beat my put down tent PB!! so a good day.

The stains for this year have just added to those from previous years that I never managed to get out.

I used my old vest that never got clean from the last Minnis Bay XC!!! Its soaking in Vanish liquid so if that works I will let you know!!!

I'm in the same boat Jill, its been in the machine twice and hand washed once and I can still see the stains. It has got better though! If you find a mystery answer let me know!
