Charity Sea Swim (19th Aug 2012)

Location: St Margarets Beach to Deal Pier

This is an amazing event for anyone who is confident swimming in open water.  Swimmers can choose their starting point from either St Margarets Bay, Kingsdown or Walmer and all swimmers finish at the pier in Deal.  The start time will be confirmed nearer the time to work with the tide (somewhere between 11am and 3pm.)

Pete Bailey kindly organised this swim for us last year as one of our charity events to help raise money for our friend Phil and the MacMillan Cancer Support charity that is doing so much to support his and many other families who are fighting cancer.

Pete will be organising the event again this year and we will tell you more about what you can expect on the day so watch this space and the forum for more information nearer the time.
