Summer Run Inter Club Relay Races 2009

Summer is the time of year for the Inter Club Summer Run Relays Races. These take place every year on every other Tuesday for 5 weeks, and is raced against 7 other local running clubs. The team make up consists of 4 men per team , 3 for the Super vets and 3 for the ladies. The distance will be about 2-3 miles per leg, normally about 2 1/2 miles.

Only the A team count for the trophies at the end of the series.

So if you are not in a A team , no pressure!!!!!. (honest……)

All you do is just turn up at the venue 30mins before , and you will be put into your teams. The fast runners will make up the A teams.

You will need to wear some form of Deal tri top, vest t-shirt , etc.

It is good fun and a good speed workout, anybody can run of any ability, so please do not get put off . It is all low key and taken in good spirit, if the past we have done very well picking up awards at the end of the series.

Also some of the clubs hold a small fun run for the kids, before the relays start.

Above is a list of dates of the relays. A week before l will put out final details and a map to get you there, and also will put out all results once l have received them. Also the dates will be put in the events calendar, so look out for that.
