I ran the course this morning and although the sky was blue and the sun was bright,the course was treacherous,i nearly went flying loads of times even at my pace(sorry Kev,even at my slow pace).I ran past the Duke of Yorks at about 10.40 and the guy on the gate said there had been about 30 runners turn up and most of them appreciated the problems so hopefully we shouldn’t get many complaints.I lost count of the times i had to climb up into the snow banks to avoid the traffic!The decision to postpone must have been an annoying one to make,but it was correct.Dave.
